Min. 7 years IT operation with strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
Minimum of 5 years of Microsoft SQL 2005/2008 Administration and reporting services SSRS,SSIS, SSAS
Knowledge of reporting and query tools and practices
Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Technical documentation skills
Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language
Self motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Should be open to shifts and willing to work off hours as needed.
Web server Knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for ensuring availability and performance of the databases used to support the company's operations
Responsible for designing, installation and documentation of database architecture
Responsible for troubleshooting and problem solving of SQL development
Develop methods for integrating different products so they work properly together, such as customizing commercial databases to fit specific needs.
Design Data Warehousing, Data modeling and Business Intelligence platform
Build database scheme, tables, procedures and permissions

Technical Qualifications:

Provide Mainframe Application Support for a Semiconductor Manufacturing System that is utilized by our end client’s manufacturing facilities.Application is critical in each of the factories.Application is mostly online with some batch.Responsibilities include but are not limited to performing the following tasks:

Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation for SMS application·
Interact with customers via the phone and email
Update problem documentation via a ticket system
Troubleshoot and resolve issues by following documented processes
Update process and support documentation as needed
Monitor environment via monitoring tools, tickets and/or email messages
Follow software lifecycle development process
Responsible for documenting and escalating tickets/a bends as needed
Provide assistance to SMS coordinators in each of the factories

Required Skills:

Minimum 5 years of experience providing support in an IT environment.
Skills include:
COBOL programming
IMS
DLI
DB2 SQL
IBM Mainframe skills such as JCL, IMS, TSO, etc
Demonstrated analytical problem solving skills
Good English Speaking and Written skills
Effective customer service skills
Self-motivating

Good time management skills

Common Everyday Tasks/Skills:

Candidates must be able to respond to situations in a methodical way and prioritize tasks effectively.
Personnel must be able to effectively communicate complex technical information to all levels of management in a professional and articulate manner.
Work closely with the Business to provide critical programming support to the SMS application. Perform technical duties associated with the software life cycle (requirements, design, construction, testing, implementation)
Emphasis is on run/maintain support of applications and troubleshooting issues that come up unexpectedly
Follow the SMS project tracking process when making coding changes

Should have coding experience in the core java with multi-threading.
Experience in working with any of the frame works like spring,hibernate,web services.
Good to have JSP,JMS,XML,JDBC,SQL,Database Concepts,Design Patterns,JUnit,Agile Methodologies,ANT,BASH.
